Hi all,
I have a great affinity for the alto clarinet and am hoping to create a resource (website or youtube channel) to encourage more players and composers to take advantage of its unique sound. One of the main things that I am looking for is to have a repertoire of music to play and record so that others may easily find music to study. This could be excerpts from band pieces, clarinet choir arrangements, solo works, etc.
My current list as of now is:
- Grainger music (Lincolnshire Posy, Molly on the Shore, Colonial Song, etc.)
- Solos listed on https://www.uiltexas.org/pml/
- "Outer Fields" by Luke Pickman
- Excerpts of music listed on youtube.com/@extraconcertbandinstruments
- Maybe some major orchestral excerpts for Basset Horn in F?
I was hoping that others here might have suggestions as to where to look after I've made recordings of many of these- any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
