 New edition of KV 622

A new reconstruction of the Mozart Concerto is now on the Historical Clarinets website with free download:

It is designed for tablet display and (apart from the reconstruction) represents the sources without editorial suggestions. (Though of course editing means choosing between different readings.) The reconstruction was informed by a thorough review of the scholarly literature over the past 70 years in English and German.

Even if you don't play basset clarinet, this edition enables you to study the articulation markings from the earliest sources as a starting point for your own interpretation. On the webpage there is also a quick summary of how the edition differs from Bärenreiter and Henle.
