Is there a huge difference between the Legere Signature clarinet reeds and the European Cut reeds? I ordered a Signature but the retailer sent me a European Cut instead and I don't want to open the package and try it in case I have to return it. Or is there not much difference? I've always used the Signature ones.

Most of the people, including me, think that european cut is by far a better reed than signature

Yes, big difference. The European Signature reeds work.
But if you are getting good results from the Bb Signature reeds there is a possibility that you may not like the European Signature reed.........stronger than comparable strength in Signature; firmer sound.

I agree about the European cut. Far better in many ways than the original Signature reeds. Slightly wider and shorter overall dimensions -- more like a soprano sax reed, I'm told.
After playing them for a while, you'll hardly notice any difference with a good cane reed. If anything, the Legere European reeds will feel and sound better than cane. At least, that has been my experience.
