So I finally purchased a new clarinet. As you can tell from the title... RC PRT!
Does anyone know about the new logo on Buffet clarinets being made recently. The Prestige that was sent to me has the standard logo on the body and Barrel but the new logo on the bell! What the f@k?! Looks weird guys. Anybody know if this is normal, now?

Thanks.

They've ditched the oval and have this as their new logo:

Also from what I've seen as a local player has recently switched from his Leblanc Concertos to a set of Buffet RCs, the more recent standard model RCs (which he has) have a metal badge inset into the top joint like Prestige level Buffets and no longer have the chambered bell.

 Mix'n'match - you've got a transitional model!

Barrels and bells aren't made with or at the same time as the upper and lower joints. Not just with Buffet, but with a lot of makers.

If it is Buffet that made this mix, then I would say they are destroying their reputation.

I would contact Buffet, demand a matched-logo clarinet. You paid for one!
