Quick question,
I would like to find out if the Buffet B12 is 440Hz or 442Hz
This model is no longer listed on the Company Website, thus no specs.
That said the newer Model the PRODIGE is listed and is noted to be 442Hz, although thes may be different Instruments all together.
I am likely going to buy a used B12 for outdoor work and this particular Instrument is 4 years old.

Being a long standing student model I would expect the B12 to be nominally at 440.
Obviously the actual pitch it plays at depends on the mouthpiece, barrel and the player.

The barrels on the more recent B12s is considerably shorter than the Evette/B&H Regent II/older B12 barrel, so chances are they're shorter to bring the pitch up (although not uniformly) to make it both easier for beginners to play up to pitch on and also for the European and Asian market.
