Can someone recommend an etude book or something that covers all the keys? For the next year I'm really focusing on basic scales (one key and relative minor a week) and would like some eludes to practice each night in whatever key I'm in. Thank you.

"Thirty-Two Etudes for Clarinet" by C. Rose starts with four exercises in the Key of C then four with one sharp, four with one flat, four with two sharps and four with two flats, etc. It goes up to five sharps then five flats. I downloaded it free on-line. Perhaps from imslp.org, but am not certain. The publisher was Carl Fisher.

Ahhhh.... my favorite exercises:
Kroepsch 416 Studies - Two pages of one or two line line "German/Romantic" exercises that emphasize a specific key center (first the major, then relative minor).
Technically two books......HIGHLY worthwhile!

Kroepsch is good. For more extended studies (but only one per key), "24 Studies in all tonalities" by Robert Stark.

Etudes Progressives et Melodiques, by Paul Jeanjean in 3 volumes. Etudes, not exercises, all major & minor keys. These range up to decent difficulty and cover many of the problems specific to individual keys. They contain a lot of expression markings and notes, much of which I relate, possibly wrongly, to a "French school" of playing. Some of the studies are pretty good music to play and hear, though to me others seem formulaic.

Studio Progressive by Gaetano Labanchi, edited by David Hite. Southern Music Co., 2002. 100 pages. (Available from Van Cott). This collection of passionate and dramatic Bel Canto style etudes contrasts with the Rose and Jeanjean mentioned earlier (both excellent books) in its fiery virtuoso style. The clarinetist is on the opera stage in this one, singing soprano and contralto with a flourish. One of the late Gino Cioffi's favorite clarinet practice books (an abridgement of the Labanchi Clarinet Method of 1886).

The Labanchi is a great book. A number of years ago there was an edition done by David Weber and Robert DiLutis.

I use the Rubank 'Selected Studies' for Clarinet by H Voxman. It has Etudes , Scales and Arpeggios in all major and minor keys up to 6 sharps and 6 flats. It is an old standard American publication that is readily available. It's a series of study books that include , as well as Clarinet, also Flute, Oboe and Saxophone. Interestingly , the Oboe and Sax books are identical as the written compass is the same. You can also practice the 7 flats / sharps of course by using the C major Etudes if you want to agitate the grey matter a bit. . As for me , 6 sharps / flats are enough.

I'm with Barry in opting for that old Jazz standby of picking an etude and transposing it to whatever key you're working on. Transposition really gives you limitless options and lets you pick and choose from anything to suit your specific goals.

As for me , 6 sharps / flats are enough.

Umm, are there any other keys?
7 sharps = C sharp = D-flat (5 flats)
7 flats = C flat = B (5 sharps)
Perhaps you mean whole tone or octatonic?

Nope. I mean 7 sharps (enharmonic to 5 flats) and 7 flats (enharmonic to 5 sharps) AS READ.
And of course 6 sharps is enharmonic to 6 flats but it's good practice to read these as written also. And these two are presented as separate exercises in Voxman's Selected Studies.
