Hello,
my daughter is playing a Bb clarinet (Boehm system), we live in Cairo, Egypt.
Presently, we need new pads for the instrument. does anyone know where to get these in Cairo, Egypt?
Thanks very much in advance and best regards,
Hans

Please use the "Search" function. This has been discussed so many times already!

I would think there are musical supply stores located in the Middle East that sell clarinet pad sets (should make sure they are for the brand your daughter plays). But failing that, you can order from Woodwind Brasswind here in the States. I would think they'd ship to you......call and ask.

I have a similar problem here in Australia. While I can buy pads, corks etc locally, the quality is sometimes not what I require and the prices are inflated. I find it easier to order pads, cork and such from Music medic and Ferrees in the US and Dawkes Music in the UK. Ordering is easy, with a large range of products. Delivery is prompt, quality is assured and I have found their service to be excellent. I'm sure they would do as well for you.

Dear HGB,
I just realised that you are posting here for the first time, so I thought I should try to explain my attempt at humour...
There are certain topics which come up again and again (eg. what do you all think about this ligature?, etc. etc.) Rather than creating new threads, people are frequently advised to use the wonderful search function that is offered on this forum.
I was fairly certain that nobody had ever, ever asked about finding spare parts in Cairo before, so I ironically suggested that you use the search function.
I just wanted to make sure that you saw the irony in my post! I hope that, in the meantime, you've been able to get pads for your son's clarinet? If you really can't find any, I'll post you some from Switzerland, OK?
Kind regards,
Robert
