Hello friends,
I wanted to let you know about the "Single Reed Symposium" I, along with Dr. Bob Beeson (saxophone professor at The Catholic University of America), am hosting on March 7th. If you are within driving distance of Washington, DC, it will be well worth your time to visit. The event is free of charge. You can register here: http://music.cua.edu/Single-Reed-Summit/singlereedsymposium.cfm
The day will consist of master classes and performances by our faculty:
Bob Beeson (saxophone teacher, The Catholic University of America)
Robert Dilutis (clarinet teacher, University of Maryland)
Noah Getz (saxophone teacher, American University)
Doug O'Connor (saxophone teacher, Towson University)
Ben Redwine (clarinet teacher, The Catholic University of America)
Pedro Rubio (clarinet teacher, Royal Conservatory of Madrid)
All attendees are invited to join the clarinet, saxophone, and joint choirs, which will end the gala concert that evening.
We have excellent vendors listed on our website, and generous sponsors making this day possible.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
