 Clarinet sonata from 1905 by Gustav Bumcke

Recently I found at chambersound the piano accompaniment for the clarinet sonata op. 9 by the German classical saxophone pioneer Gustav Bumcke (1876-1963):

The sheet music is availabel at Petrucci library.

To my opinion, it is not a real masterpiece, but a piece worth studying. I found out, that the sonata was published in 1905. Does anybody know more about this sonata?
