I can't figure out all the small fingering instructions in my Alphonse Leduc edition of the "Vade-Medum". Is there a complete translation somewhere? Out of curiosity, was there a standard fingering chart to which JeanJean was referring in writing this work? What do the occasional bracketed M.D. and M.G. refer to? Thanks.

M.D. = Main Droite = Right hand
M.G. = Main Gauche = Left hand
