Anyone who plays a NOVA mouthpiece who can share thoughts and reflections?
Is it a good mouthpiece?

If you're looking for a good quality student level mouthpiece, yes, it is.

I have the Nova Bass piece, and like it a lot. In a way it's like a Fobes Debut, but I wouldn't say it's a "student" mouthpiece - unlike the Debut, it does take some time getting used to, but then...wow.

I agree that it's not exactly a "student" mouthpiece, but more of an entry-level professional. The price has probably gone down since I bought mine, but I've been using one since middle school.
It's nice and closed so I tend to use 4-4½ reeds. There's good reed compatibility too. I've been able to get a good (subjectively) dark, round sound out if it. I now loan it to my students to give them a feel for a mouthpiece much more refined (or maybe just specialized) than a no-name, stock, or "band-director approved" mouthpiece.
I've since moved on to a new mouthpiece, but I do look back on my Nova with fondness. I don't regret buying it.

I use one on my Lyrique C clarinet and am very pleased with the result.

Not meaning to co-opt the OP's post, but just curious how it compares to the Debut and the San Francisco CF+ since it is in the middle price wise and has the same CF+ facing.

I love my Nova on my contra alto clarinet. It is far more comfortable than the #3 Bundy I had. It also works well with the Legere #3 Barisax reed I've been using after giving up on fighting warp during the winter.
