Schubert's Arpeggione Sonata (in an arrangement for Clarinet and Piano, obviously).

And here it is actually played on a genuine arpeggione - most often I've heard it played on either 'cello or guitar, but never the combination of the two:

I'm not sure who is because it was almost 30 years ago.
I do know if he is my old teacher or another one I do not remember......

Korody Kruetzer did a nice arrangement of it. It starts on Clarinet A, which there are other versions that have start it on B instead. I prefer the Korody transcription.

I first heard it when Joaquin Valdepenas (Toronto Sym) performed it at a Clarinet Conference (Towson, MD) June of 1986

Richard Stoltzman played the Arpeggione on his very first recital record, back when he played quite "straight." A very excellent performance.
I played it on bass clarinet at a music party many years ago. It goes into the stratosphere at ppp, but if you're not afraid of that, it's wonderful.

I have found in one online musicstore that there are different editions: barenreiter doblinger and imc. Which is the edition more similar to the recording I've posted?
