 1976-1977 Wood Bundy

Vague question for you all. How is a 1976 or 1977 Wood Bundy? No, I dont have the serial # for it but was told the guy bought brand new in either 76 or 77. He knew I had just bought a V40 and threw this at me. I can't find much info on this so thought someone here may be able to help me a bit with the quality/playability of and what to look for.
Thanks!

These are the same as the plastic Bundy acoustically with the same bore size and keywork. Some have plastic bells and/or barrels. The Bundy's .590 bore is a little bigger than the V-40's .584 bore.

The Bundy keywork is tough and durable, as is the Vito's. The V-40's keywork is a little more refined than the Bundy's, though if you're going to perform seriously with either horn a careful regulation is highly recommended.

The Bundy has a Selmer influence to the tone and is going to be quite different than the Leblanc-inspired Vito. You are going to have to test-play the Bundy to see if it'll work for you.

If you like the horn, go for it! Just don't pay too much for one.
