Glad to hear they found common ground. These things rarely come out well for any of the perties when they become protracted.

Those of us here in the Cleveland area are happy. We all know that economic conditions are not good here but with our Orchestra, we have one of the top ensembles in the world. They need to be compensated as such. I think a pay freeze this year is so much better than any kind of cut. Looking forward to the next concert I attend.

Yes, and a long strike would've been especially damaging in the present economic climate. I'm glad to hear this action got settled with a reasonable-looking compromise.
