That's pretty hysterical...although I'm not sure I agree with some of those thoughts.

Sounds suspiciously like an April Fool's joke. But in autumn?

Well, whatever it is, it made me laugh!

It is a laugh, whatever.

We went to an evening at the theatre in London with The Reduced Shakespeare Company. They performed the entire works of the great man in one evening, including an accelerated version at the end in which they did the whole lot again in 10 minutes.

It was a brilliant night out that I thoroughly recommend if you ever get the chance.

So....
We all know these things so well that some parts don't have to be included.
I guess that applies to the whole work, so why perform it at all?

And no need to turn the orchestra around to face the other way, just issue blindfolds to the audience.

In fact, lets just fill the hall with people in total darkness and silence for a couple of hours?

Wonder if I'd get away with that philosophy.
"I didn't play my clarinet part because everyone knows it anyway".

Maybe his website has been hacked by some disaffected musician who is designing websites as a "day job" because he can't live on a symphony salary?
