Does this model come standard brand new with a floor peg?

They do come with one fitted, but I can't remember if it's an adjustable or fixed one.

Well, I'm thinking of getting one, since they are(for me) much more affordable than the wood ones. I just need to know if it's adjustable at all.

Might want to check directly with Conn-Selmer. They list the horn as a Vito model on their site, but no specifics about the peg.

There's a small peg fixed to the bottom of the bell but it's not adjustable. I use a stool with an adjustable seat so the player can be raised or lowered as necessary :-)
It's a pretty good instrument but the long keys at the bottom end need to be carefully set up to play easily over the break.

I have the contra alto and the little peg on it is about 1 inch long and fixed to the bottom of the bell. I need more height so I built a set of steps out of 2x4's with a slight indent drilled in the steps to keep the horn from slipping. It works quite well for me. I just painted it black so that it would not stand out on stage.
