Could someone tell me the difference between a Clarinet listed as a Bb and a Bb soprano? Thanks, Burt

None.
Maybe to emphasize that it is not a Bb bass. (same as eg Eb Soprano vs. Eb Alto)

Naaah, you guys have it all wrong.
A Bb Soprano is one of those high pitched lady singers (you can never understand what they are saying) who has a certain difficulty "going along" with what the orchestra is playing.
