I just sent a couple of mouthpieces over to Ramon Wodkowski who's currently in Europe right now, but let me tell you that he is an OUSTANDING mouthpiece refacer! He completely transformed my french blank into a very easy blowing and projectful mouthpiece. I've let my friend try my mouthpiece and he was astounded by it's new facing. It plays very similar to a Hill mouthpiece, but the blank he sent back to me had a little more color in the sound. He is definitely a force to be reckoned with. Super excited to enjoy this mouthpiece for a long time. check out his website, his contact info is there.

I know there are other refacers out there, but from my experience, i think he's top notch.
Update: This mouthpiece that he refaced for me is PERFECT in every way. Talk about getting a stroke of luck with a blank mouthpiece to be so flexible and wonderful sounding. He really is a superb refacer... find a good blank and send it his way. you WON'T regret it. =)
Our inventions are wont to be pretty toys, which distract our attention from serious things. they are but improved means to an unimproved end, an end which was already but too easy to arrive as railroads lead to Boston to New York
