I just purchased a Selmer Signet Special clarinet (I know this is not an R13, but for me it's a step up from my plastic Bundy). The instrument has been residing in southern Louisiana for several years, I live in the center of California. The climate here is a lot dryer, any suggestions for a smooth uneventful transition considering the humidity differences? The instrument had been played recently (high school band) and is in good condition (no cracks at this point).

Thanks, John
