I was there. It was a great performance, and a great concert. Mr. Cohen's playing was completely amazing. Some ridiculously good high playing and technique like none other, all with perfect style and flair. The rest of the concert was also full of great clarinet playing, with very fine solo work in Shostakovich 5 and in the Barber Overture to School for the Scandal.

Yesterday was also a very good concert, and a side-by-side with the Blossom Festival Chamber Orchestra. I couldn't tell for sure who was playing clarinet during the Khachaturian Violin Concerto (sounded a lot like Cohen to me), but there was some very fine playing going on there as well. And the violin soloist...Spectacular.

Good times at Blossom.
