after reading the recent post on "scales" and how woodwinds clarinets and saxes have transposing "families" to make playing and learning fingerings easier...how come brass in the bass clef don't do this? My friend plays Eb, C, and Bb tubas, and is constantly muddled between fingerings on the three. You think those tuba players would have caught on...

lol, thats true, my sister plays trombone and Bass Trombone and she drives me crazy with complaints. They just don't get it.
