Ok, I've been playing flute for six years and have always LOVED it, but recently I haven't. I just bought a brand-new flute, which makes it even wierder. Anyway, i know theres a topic out about getting back into playing oboe, but is there any way to get me to want to play again without buying music or a CD or buying anything at all?

I have been there before. I have once hated playing flute so much one time that i almost quit! I am very glad I dident. But the way I got back into playing was not stoping. Just keep on playing weather the music was boring or exciting. But I think going to a Concert like TorusTubarius said would also help get you back into it. Also now when I need insparation and more enthusiasum for playing flute I pop in a flute CD. Like James Galway, Rampal, or one that my professor has recorded. Just remember be creative. thats what playing an instrument is all about creativity. Use your imagination and I think you will love playing flute more than ever.

JUst realize why you loved it so much and try to revisit that moment when you loved playing the flute.
