this may sound like a dumb question but why do piano key start with A. or if you want to be vice end with A( if you start high and end low)? why aren't they built c to c. it would be more symmetrical. does then answer have something to do with a440?? and if they had to start with a, why not end with a to symmetrical??

I believe it has more to do with the lowest A being very close to the lowest note that we can hear as a note.
