lets say u do a trill from a to f on tenor sax does thet mean you play every note from a to f?

A trill is between two notes which are side by side. You can trill between A and Bflat, A and B, but not between A and F. In a trill, you play the two notes repeated in rapid succession, for example ABABABABABAB.
A tremolo is the same as a trill, but the two notes are more than a whole tone apart. A to F would be a tremolo. But you just play the end notes, not the ones in between.
