For saxophone(tenor), using a Berg Larsen stainless steel mouthpiece, which would be the best strength of reeds to use? I use Rico for everyday practice, and Vandoren 2 weeks before any concerts. (I heard that Vandoren's are slightly harder than what they say)

Do vandoren reeds give the best tone quality? i use rico for practices (alto sax) but I know a lot of people who swop reeds for concerts and just wondered why, as being an oboist i usually stick to one reed.

I always play with the smae reed, to stay consistant. I see no reason to switch. Vandorens are also superior reeds, made with better quality. What strength and facing is the mouthperice? i need to know that before giving advice.
