Does anyone know of a pennyflute (or similar instrument) that uses the same fingering as a traditional flute? Also, is a traditional flute in the key of C (I learned how to play the flute, but missed that part....).
Please let me know ~ Thanks! Nancy Jo

I have never hear of a pennyflute, but yes, the "traditional" flute is in the key of C.

I believe that the recorder, flutophone, and tonette have similar fingering to that of a concert flute. Similarities are basic, though flats and sharps may get a little frutrating.
