 tuning for clarinet

do you push in when you are flat or sharp?

When you are sharp, you need to pull out. When flat,push in. I remember by thinking, "When you're sharp, you're short."

You may need to adjust at both the barrel and between the upper and lower joint.

You push in if you are flat. If you are sharp you pull out.
