Piccolo is as simular to flute as it is different.The biggest thing to remember is fast air and a slightly tighter embroshure than flute. Depending if you are playing on a metal piccolo or a piccolo with a metal headjoint you are going to run into some issues with intonation, so it would be good if you could learn some alternate fingerings to avoid this. If you are using a wooden piccolo.. then GREAT!!! they have an awesome sound and tend to have the least issues... I hope this helps you along the way.

have you ever played the flute before? Because I honestly suggest learning the flute first. I started on the flute, and I'm just learning to play rhe pic. right now, and its going really well.
