I play the Clarinet, and I'm thinking about switching to sax. But before I do I was wondering if the sax fingerings are hard, and also what type of sax do you recomend for a begginer? Please reply, and if you do thanks.

well...
the fingerings are pretty easy...you can see the on this site...i went to tenor first but i have heard that going to alto first is easier...mostly because the embashure is different and on tenor you have to learn that it doesnt have to be as tight as clarinet....
having played both alto and tenor after clarinet-
the fingering are easy...almost the same as a d on the staff and up on clarinet...
learning how to set your mouth will probably be the hardest
i recomend the alto to begin with and because the fingerings are the same on all the saxes...work you way around until you find something you like
