i Have recently bought a kohlert saxophone from a dealer near me and it was new when i bought it. i thought it was a teal when i got it because it was only 600$ man was i wrong. at that point i was only about 3 months paycheck away from the saxophone i really wanted and my parents made me crack and get this heap of junk. does anybody play on a kohlert saxophone? hat reeds do you use for best sound with its original mouthpiece? what about the mouthpiece?

Wow, I just bought one of these via web. Can you elaborate on why this isn't really a quality sax? The only reason I got it was to reaquiant myself with playing since I havent touched one in over 10 years. Oh yeah, it was cheap. Used to play a Yamaha that I considered satisfactory.
By the way, Selmer was the mouthpiece of choice for my old sax. Don't bother with Conn or Yamaha mouthpieces. VanDoren isn't too bad, but Selmer is the one to have.
