how to trill effectively and also how to play running notes effectively??how to have the clear tunging sound..and how do i tell whether my clarinet is flat or sharp..

trilling is just going back and forth between two notes. just move you finger(s) fast like a buzzing sound of a bee's wings. clear tounging is something you need to practise. remember not to use anchor tounging, thats when you use the middle of your tounge about half inch down. just use the tip of your tounge. how to tell if your clarinet is flat or sharp is how well you can hear pitches. a tuner would work great if your by yourself. with two or more people you cna hear a wave, thats the notes clashing together. you are perfectly in tune when two people are playing and it sounds as if one instrument is playing. hope this helps.
