 Fife of some sort

Hello! I was just wondering; Ive found an old fife in my house (probably of sentimental value), and it has the inscription 'Butler Haymarket, London and Dublin' on it. It seems to be pitched in A. Could anyone give me any more info? And would the fife fingerings be ok if transposed a bit? Thanks
