 Tips on grace notes (piano)

If anyone has ever played a Chopin waltz, how did you get the stupid grace notes to fit in with the melody?! I'm going crazy but they always come in early or late.

First take out the grace notes. Practice getting the "real" notes on the beat. Once this is solid, the grace notes can't be early or late- the will just be before the beat.
