Hello
I have a daughter just beginning the sax and am looking for the beginning sheet music. Am not sure if it is the tenner or alto sax.
Thanks Debbie

If your daughter is just beginning then maybe she should try the "standard of excellence" books or perhaps the "elementary Rubank book". If you want to find actual music for her to play, go to a local music store or look online. Music is rated on a difficulty scale of 1-6. Try buying her some pieces that are perhaps grade 1 or 2 (or 3 if she finds these too easy). To figure out what kind of sax your daughter has have her simply blow into the instrument with no fingers down (this is a C# on saxophone) then hit either the B or the E on the piano. If the sax note matches the B you have a tenor, if it matches the E you have an alto. Another way to tell is that the tenor is larger than the alto. Good luck to the both of you

music is rated higher then grade 6. piano there is grade 10 and higher. try your local instrument dealer, they usually have beginner music there. and it's possible that there is a music dealership in your town/city. they will be able to equip you with music of all kinds of levels and styles. hope this helps.
