I am still trying to find a flute, but I have a question. What is the difference between a 16 hole, 17 hole, and 18 hole flute. Does the number of holes have something to do with how the flute plays?
Oh yeah, I know the number of holes is one difference!!! (I'm not that dumb)!!!

The flute I rented two weeks ago has 17 holes. I think an 18 hole flute must be a B-foot flute, which means that instead of having a low C like my flute, it would go down a half step lower. I don't know about 16.
