Hello all,
I know there are various websites for buying and selling instruments, but do any websites exist where folks can trade/swap instruments with each other? I would think, given the vastness of the internet, that someone may have put something like this together. Just curious, thanks.

I know of a low brass website that has some "swappers", but no woodwind ones. Personally I wouldn't trust it...There are some pretty unscrupulous people out there.

you would have to go to a web with known users. I know on SOTW I have sent instruments out to ppl on trial to get their input or they wanted to - that's w/o payment. But that has been with people with known histories and good background with other SOTWers. all others have to pay up front.
i certainly wouldn't swap an instrument w/someone that I didn't know. Too much risk as the actual condition of the other instrument really isn't known. Someone may say something is in great condition to just find out that their "background" is far less than yours and the instrument may be in fairly bad condition.
