Question, I am in a community band and we are playing a swing piece that has a snipit of "In the Mood." The sequence I play starts with D flat - F nat.- A flat - D flat - F nat - A flat ..... Dotted 8th note- 16th note - repeated in that pattern with a swing to it. (I believe that is the pattern - I don't have the music in front of me right now) Oh yeah, in cut time. I am really struggling with the transition from note to note (this particular set of notes - the other "groupings" that go with the tune are okay). I have tried several alternative fingerings but can't seem to find one that works efficiently. Comments?
Thank you in advance,
Kelly
