I want something very playable with good tone and ease of playing especially in the lower register. I have difficulty w/ the lower notes with the reeds I'm using now. I also need a reed that is easy to break in. Must be stable in the upper register as well.
Any ideas? I've tried reeds from the Reedery, Good Tone Guild, ReedMaker.com , and other mass produced reeds. Of those, I like GTG reeds the best but they seem a bit hard to break in and I still need something that helps with the low notes a bit better.
Making my own is not really an option right now either.
