What does an oboe finisher do? (Typical steps to fininsh an oboe and the time it takes.)
When adjusting the oboe and down to the 'playing tests' F#-G#, C#-D#, F resonance key, does a brighter or duller reed bias the results one way or other? Is one preferrable to the other?
What is the best way to clean an oboe, top to bottom, inside and out?
Is there a polish for the outside (or bore for that matter)?
Do octave vents have a life expectancy (should they be replaced at some point) ?
