I recently fell victim to a terrible tragedy, so I am sending this
email as a warning to my fellow oboists in the hope that I can at
least save others from befalling the same fate as I.
I was about to work on some reeds when I noticed that my plaque was
getting very dirty. I rinsed it in water, but still it was full of
little splotches. I didn't want to use soap in case some of it got
in my mouth, so I decided to wash it in Listerine. I dropped the
plaque in a little shot glass of Listerine and came back to it ten
minutes later. To my amazement, the plaque had completely disappeared!
I figured someone must had taken it, or maybe I was just confused. I
put a second plaque in the Listerine, hid it in the back of a drawer,
and then took it out again ten minutes later. Incredibly, even
though I had been there the whole time, the plaque had disappeared
again!
This time I set a third plaque in Listerine and watched it. Over the
course of a few minutes it slowly bubbled and dissolved before my
eyes!
Therefore, I just want to warn you all.... LISTERINE IS ANTI-PLAQUE!
