 Automatic Octave Keys
Author: OboeAgain

My brother is taking up his oboe again after many years hiatus. He has an older Cabart which has an automatic octave key. He's very used to this. I've suggested he get a newer oboe, but he is nervous about not having the automatic octave key. Question: Are there more modern oboes made with the automatic octave key? If so, which oboes?

Walter
