Update! -- the file attachments errored out... I sent email attachments to Mark and he will post them when he has a chance.

I checked with Mark and he said it'd be OK for me to post some attachments for your use.

Here is the Mozart Oboe Quartet in F (Koch. Vers. 370)

I produced these in the 1980s using synthesizers of that era and would like to make them available in MP3 format for your use. All music is public domain and I grant you the right to copy these postings, use and distribute as long as its done free of charge.

I need experiment a bit with MP3 formats, etc., to find the most desirable settings for this forum, so, here goes the first try...

These are MP3 files in the 160 kbps (kilobits per second) middle quality setting. Taking it down to good quality at 128 kbps saves around 20% on the file size. If needed we can do that as we go along.

I suggest loading them on your computers and then either loading onto Ipod-type devices or burning a CD if you can play it on a better system.

A note on using headphones, leave them a bit off each ear and you will maintain your perception of your tone while playing. ( A good trick from recording studio experience...)
