How do you break in a new oboe?
I figure playing it an hour maximum a day? The oboe I am getting has been "lightly" played and am not sure what that means and so I just want to be careful. The wood has been aged for 11-13 years and that reduces the chance of cracking ...yet ..well I am paranoid of cracking since my old oboe took a fatal crack.
Thanks.
