Cane Assessment

Author: mjfoboe  Date:   2015-04-10 19:42 So I bought this batch of "Turkish" cane at the IDRS conference last summer. I had mixed results with it. So I decided to throw most of it out. When you gouge it it is "dusty" and dry .... and very stringy. I still had some shaped caned from the batch ... and I made a reed. Well the reed plays quite well and has a "gut" to it. Go figure~! So I took the tubes I threw out out of the garbage bin. I GIVE UP!!!. Someone give me a crystal ball. Mark
