After several years of playing on a plastic oboe, I have been suggested to step up my game and purchase a wooden oboe. I also play in an orchestra and I have the choice between a rosewood oboe and a grenadilla oboe. Which one is more suitable in an orchestral setting?
Also I have my eyes set on this oboe:

and the owner claims that it is made out of rosewood. Is it really?
