I am sure most of us here has read about my recent unfortunate stucked swab event. Now it is still in progress, and i will be to acquire a thumbplate system oboe this evening, what brand or model, is still unknown to me (I hope it is a Howarth). It is from the Malaysian Philharmonic's education department, bless them for giving me a helping hand at this moment but WHY A THUMBPLATE!!! I desperately need a fingering chart right now, and if anyone wants to comment please suggest some tips on 'quick system change' methods, though there is no such thing, at least some tips of 3rd register etc? THANKS!
