 cor anglais adjustment

Is there a book with at least chapters dedicated to the adjustment of the Cor? To me it seems like one cannot treat the cor like an oboe even in this aspect. There are so many mechanical differences in terms of placement and keys that dont exist on the oboe anyways. Any ideas? Thanks!
