Hi,
I decided to try a slightly wider shaper tip with my Marigaux. Presently, I am using a RDG -1 - I might begin to use just a 1.
What are the other Marigaux players on the list using as a shaper tip and why?
By the way - I make perfectly good reeds with the -1 - Just a hunch by examining some normal variation in my reeds that a slightly wider shape may give better and consistent results in the core sound.
