Hello! I recently discovered one of my old mouthpieces in my plastic clarinet case, and I'm struggling to definitively identify it. I do know it's part of the Vandoren 13 series. On the front left of the facing there is a 13, and on the front right there is a lyre symbol, but any other markings have either rubbed off or were never there in the first place. I'm stumped because I play on an M13 Lyre now, and there is an "M" next to the lyre on that mouthpiece. I honestly don't remember when I would have purchased it-in 8th grade I accidentally knocked my mouthpiece on the floor, chipping it, and I was forced to buy a new one. Memory tells me that's when I purchased the M13 Lyre, but it appears that somewhere along the line I bought a different one. Maybe a 5RV Lyre? There are just no markings to tell beyond the 13 Lyre. It's very possible that this mouthpiece I just found is the one I bought in 8th grade, and got the M13 Lyre a few years later, but I just don't remember. This would have all been somewhere most likely between 2002 and 2007, because I'm certain I haven't purchased a new mouthpiece since early in my college career.
