 What Year My Buescher Alto?

Dear fellows,

I started playing my old Buescher alto clarinet again – a badly-tuned but otherwise phantastically sounding horn – and I was wondering how old it is. Is anyone of you capable of helping me out?

The serial number is 16360 and it was at one point in its life played in Detroit.

if its plastic its a rebadged bundy. what dies the case look like?

if no low eb -its pre 60,s . at any rate its really a rebadged bundy

I am quite aware it's a rebadged Bundy, that's not what I was wondering … I was wondering how old the instrument is – as in, exactly how old. It has a low E-flat.

its mid 60,s and up . thats when altos started getting low eb,s . this is a ballpark guess as my early 70,s bundy has llow eb
